NCS: career days and a creative math lesson

Enclosed are pictures of Will tuning bikes at High Peaks Cyclery, Alexis socializing a cat at the humane society, Walter and Sam doing maintenance work at Pirate’s Cove, and Chants at Major Plow Shears, a retail store in Saranac Lake. Back in classes, you see Max working out the math for how much surface area needs to be painted on the “Giant Peach” prop, and how many gallons of paint we would need to buy to give it two coats of paint ... a great example of the hands on, real world, applied math that we pride ourselves on.
