Homenight

The tradition on homenights is that a different house does barn chores
each week. Here you see some of Algonguin House returning from chores.
They will also sort and bag dirty laundry, put away clean laundry,
help cook the evening meal, and then maybe watch a movie as the house
activity. I think one house is going to use the speed skating oval in
town, while another house went nordic skiing and did a sauna. This is
an eagerly anticipated part of the week.

Hock
Bouldering in the Desert

Hello from Hock!

This is my tenth year as the head of the institution. Selden and I met on campus and were married on the lake hill in 1984. Both our children - Jon and Lucy - have gone to, or are presently attending North Country School and Camp Treetops. In this blog I will try to show your children at work and play. I will also share some of the resources that our staff are discussing today. Of course, the definitive word on the subject is best found on our website ... the blog is just to whet your appetite.
